These three levels can have a lot in common and you can see that they are all connected. For example, your senses are all connected with your mind as they are connected to your inner state of mind. Your conscious awareness of the physical world is connected to your conscious awareness of your mind. Your conscious awareness of your mind is connected to your conscious awareness of your physical world.
The word unconscious also means not aware or aware of, but in this case it refers to both your conscious awareness of the physical world and your conscious awareness of your mind. The two are always connected and can have a direct impact on each other. For example, you might be able to see the world around you, but you might not be able to see your mind.

A study of over one hundred thousand people conducted at Stanford University found that nearly half of all people (49%) have a strong relationship between their thoughts and their actions. In other words, when you know your thoughts, you are more likely to act on them. But what about the other half? Almost all people (96%) reported that they don’t know what their thoughts and feelings are.
Some people think they don’t even have thoughts because they’re unconscious, but they are not. They are aware of the thoughts and feelings that get passed between them and the subconscious. This is known as meta-cognition. Other people think that they are so unconscious that they don’t even have a self-awareness. This is called self-awareness.
This is where the confusion comes in. Self-awareness is not self-knowledge. Self-knowledge is all the knowledge we have about ourselves. Self-awareness is the understanding that we have about our own thoughts and feelings. How we manage them. How we react to them.
Self-awareness or self-knowledge is a process of self-knowledge. It doesn’t mean that you have to know everything about yourself. Self-awareness is just understanding what you know about yourself. You can do it without knowing anything about yourself. The problem is that so many people seem to be so self-conscious that they are unable to get that far.
