I’m surprised he’s able to do this kind of work in the first place. I mean, the Pentagon wasn’t built to interact with each other. We don’t have a Google-level search engine for them to interact with.

The Pentagon has always been a tough nut to crack, even when you think you’re a genius at something. But it turns out, even if you’re a genius at something, you have to spend a lot of time studying the subject before you can make it work.
John Stankovic is a designer/artist who has always been interested in time-looping games. He’s written about his research, his experience, and his work with time-loops in his book, The End of Game. One of the things I find most interesting about that book is that he says he used to play a game called Time Tunnel before he learned it was time-looping.
I like time-looping games too. I’ve played (and played in) a couple of time-looping games from the 80s and I can remember how the game was, without any of the game mechanics being explained. But I also remember playing games that were more like the original Time Tunnel. So I’m not entirely sure what, if any, impact this new documentary, Time Tunnel, has on me. But we’ll see.
As the author of the book, he is probably the most prominent author in the game industry, so probably the biggest influence on the game industry. And if you haven’t seen the film at all, you should check it out.
The documentary focuses on Stankovic’s childhood, his relationships with his parents and friends, and how his parents’ relationship and death impacted his life. It’s a very touching documentary in that it’s not exactly a “what you see is what you get” sort of thing. It was the game that did for me what the documentary did for me.
